About
Your guide to a life full of meaning, joy, and love.
The counseling style at Full Life is most influenced by director Hunter Teets who works from an Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Processing (AEDP) lens. Hunter has found this style highly effective in bringing quick, profound and lasting change for patients. AEDP asks the therapist to be active in engaging with patients fighting for them from a place of love and kindness.
Another common thread for all practitioners in the practice is mindfulness based work. Mindfulness is incorporated into sessions according to patient’s comfort with this. We all find that this is a great aid to the counseling process and speeds up the work considerably. For more information about mindfulness, read our blog article, Mindfulness Resources.
Each practitioner has different areas of specialty ranging from body centered interventions, nature based interventions, Family Therapy, and substance use. Just like a healthy ecosystem thrives with diversity we find that our practice thrives with different styles and views that aid us in giving the most effective services to our patients.
