Chris Andrews, Master’s Student
Chris is a master’s student in William & Mary’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling program and an intern at Full Life. Chris brings a unique and holistic approach to supporting clients on their healing journeys. In 2016, Chris walked across the United States to research phone addiction and spoke at schools about finding balance in a digital world. This experience, as well as some personal challenges, sparked his own healing journey to discover how to live a meaningful life. Chris currently teaches QiGong in Charlottesville, where he leads groups in somatic exercises that promote relaxation and deepen self-connection. As a counselor, his work emphasizes mindfulness and presence, which are core elements of his counseling philosophy. Chris believes that every person has an inherent capacity for healing when provided with a safe and supportive space. He strives to build relationships grounded in trust and compassion, empowering clients to explore their emotions, reconnect with themselves, and access their natural ability to heal.
If you have a sense that you might like to work with Chris, please don’t hesitate to contact us to arrange an initial phone conversation to assess the potential of working together.
Chris offers clinical services under the supervision of Hunter Teets, MA LPC VA license #0701005525.
