Exciting News!

I am writing to share an exciting announcement and to explain what this will mean for your services. Full Life is merging with Charlottesville Integrated Psychiatry(CIP) in the late fall of 2024 and all of our work will happen in their practice.

What does this mean for you?

Hopefully, very little will change for you. You are able to continue seeing your current therapist and your copay should be similar. Our offices are staying at 901 Preston ave. There will be some additional paperwork to complete as this transition happens, the list below will take you through the next steps.

  • Your information will be migrated to their system and you will get a notification to sign up through their portal with Privia once proper releases of information have been obtained.

  • Please complete the Privia portal information.

  • Administrative staff will update copay information and your therapist will communicate about this with you.

  • If you are already a patient of Charlottesville Integrated Psychiatry there is not anything you need to do.

Why are we doing this?

The Medical Director of Charlottesville Integrated Psychiatry, Dr. Benjamin Stephens, and I, Hunter Teets, have the goals of providing great care to our patients, remaining accessible by taking insurance, training upcoming therapists well, and compensating our therapists well. This is a challenge in our current insurance system and we have seen that we can do this better by working together.

We appreciate your trust in us and ask for patience with any bumps in the process.

Thank you!

Hunter Teets
